Another facet of our presence here in Hong Kong S.A.R and Macau S.A.R, is to proactively promote and highlight the countless investment and business opportunities in the State of Kuwait as well as in Hong Kong and Macau. In view of that, our aim is to contribute in achieving His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s vision in transforming the State of Kuwait into a regional and international trade and financial hub by the year 2035. To achieve this vision, the State of Kuwait is now running towards the Third Master Plan in improving the country infrastructure needs which has been marked with a national budget for projects in different sectors such as roads, ports and airports infrastructure, water, power and social infrastructure, metro and national railway networks. Therefore, this vision substantially carries thoughts on how Kuwait stands ready about ushering in a new chapter in bilateral friendship with Hong Kong and China through the "Belt and Road" initiative and subsequently Madinat al-Hareer (Silk City) in Kuwait and also Kuwait being a member of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank are just another evidence of Kuwait’s determination to elevate the breakthrough into the Sino-Kuwaiti cooperation in implementing the "Belt and Road" initiative. This initiative which is expected to provide interesting opportunities for investors in the State of Kuwait.

Yours Sincerely,
